Ljubljana and Bled are definitely one of the main Slovenian tourist destinations. Explore them with us barrier free!
In the morning, we will drive to Bled with its famous lake and an island with a church and a medieval castle on the rock overlooking the lake. So with just a little of imagination we will feel as though we were in a fairytale. After a short tour around the lake we will have great opportunity to try Bled’s famous cream cake »kremšnita«.
Our next stop is Slovenian capital city Ljubljana. Ljubljana is definitely the best wheelchair friendly place to visit in Slovenia and was awarded a Bronze Access City Award in 2015 and a 2018 Silver Access City Award. After arrival, we will take some time for lunch and then start with the sightseeing of the city. We shall have a tour around the city center that was highly denoted by the Slovenian architect Jože Plečnik and then take the funicular to Ljubljana Castle. After seeing all the important parts of the city center and after having a compulsory coffee (Slovenians just love coffee drinking, in fact we drink much more of it then our neighbors the Italians) we will drive back to the hotel.
