In case you will be traveling around Slovenia in the second part of August, you can also enjoy the traditional open-air cinema festival which will be taking place in our capital from 22nd to 24th August.
After successfully organizing a three-week festival “Film under the stars” on Ljubljana castle in July, another similar event will be taking place on Ljubljana’s Congress square. Congress square is one of the biggest and most accessible squares in Slovenian capital, so wheelchair users can enjoy the movie projections as everybody else. Parking house in just near the square, below the park Star and the square also has a toilette adapted for wheelchair users.
The films are screened in their original language with Slovenian subtitles; non-English language films also include English subtitles. The movies which will be projected during the festival are the following ones:
