General Information

Hotel Kempinski Palace Portorož has always been a magnet for people who love elegance and entertainment.

The Palace Hotel was built and opened in 1910, during the Austro-Hungarian Empire. At that time it was considered a tourist facility of the highest category.
The hotel is located in the centre of Portorož, which is known for its mild Mediterranean climate and the 110-year-old spa tradition. The park outside the hotel was declared as a monument to designed nature.
Near Portorož lies the picturesque town of Piran, one of the jewels of Istria.
The rooms are spacious and luxurious. All units also feature either a full or a French balcony with views of the Adriatic Sea or the park.
The hotel offers a variety of restaurants and bars. One of the most beautiful areas is definitely the refined restaurant Sophia – it reflects the excellent cuisine in the form of art. Guests can relax in the Rose Spa that spreads over 1,500 m² and features heated seawater swimming pools, hot tubs, steam baths, saunas and various beauty treatments. As  guests of the hotel you have access to the exclusive Meduza Beach, located just 150 m away from the property .
Parking spaces are reserved for all guests. The employees can park your car in the parking garage. You may still arrange for your car to be parked in the car park in front of the entrance.
Kempinski Palace Portorož is a disabled-friendly hotel. It is fully accessible. The promenade is 50m from the hotel, and the path is accessible.
