RECEPTION FOR EUROPEAN BASKETBALL CHAMPIONS

On Saturday (17.09.2017) Slovenia managed to defeat Serbia 93:85 in the Finals of Eurobasket in Istanbul! 26 years after the independence and after being so close to the medal on several occasions in the past 15 years, Slovenian basketball players brought the golden medal to the country on the sunny side of the Alps.

On Monday (18.09.2017) despite heavy rain, which is tormenting us for the last 10 days, 20.000 people came to Ljubljana’s Congress Square (which is fully accessible and also has a wheelchair adapted toilette) to greet the new heroes of the Slovenian nation.
